Thank you for checking out this SOS Update section to discover what Spiritual Overseers Service International is accomplishing throughout the world.SOS exists to further the evangelization of the world through consulting, equipping, and resourcing national leaders. SOS has seen more than 800 mission events carried out in more than 80 countries since it was founded in 1979 by Rev. Henry E. (Hank) Jones and his wife, Marjorie.
Hank and Marjorie’s vision was to supply a steady stream of qualified and experienced resource people who would equip and resource indigenous leaders around the world. Many things are accomplished through this - leaders are equipped, to do what God has called them to do, national leaders are trained in areas they need and request, greater evangelism and discipleship happens as leaders become better equipped, US churches become directly involved in mission activity, experienced leaders are unleashed to use their gifts and training and fulfill the Great Commission on an international level, and the Body of Christ is built up in love. (Ephesians 4:11-16). Everybody wins - especially leaders overseas. SOS’ President, Dr. Rich Frazer (pictured above), was recently in Jamaica to learn from the leadership of the United Church of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands how SOS International will help them by providing training in leadership development and church and denominational revitalization.
